Users of the portable device are not satisfied with the internet speed, said a poll. The survey conducted by research and analysis firm Keynote said that the tablet and smartphone users in the USA desired to have faster speed and load their web pages in the twinkling of an eye.
The online survey of more than 500 people finds that over 60 percent tablet users in the US desire to have a website opened within two seconds while 64 percent of smartphone users do not want to spend more than 4 seconds to open a desired site.
“Overall, the survey showed that while expectations vary somewhat depending on the platform desktop, smartphone or tablet, they are definitely increasing. In short, user expectations, no matter the device, are for very fast performance,” said Keynote.
According to the study, 66 percent users of smartphone become frustrated when they find ‘web pages slow to load’ while 48 per cent thinks slow internet speed is a key problem.
“The expectation gap for performance has tightened considerably across platforms, and vendors ignore these increased expectations for blazing fast performance at their own peril,” added the firm.
