- Social giant Facebook has more than 83 million fake users, according to BBC.
The most celebrated social networking site blessed with more than 955 million active users said 8.7 percent of the appeared figure might be duplicate.
Describing 1.5 percent of total users are ‘undesirable,’ the report says, 4.8 percent of the users made duplicate Facebook profiles.
Facebook has classified its 83.09 million fake users in three groups: Firstly, ‘Fakes,’ “an account that a user maintains in addition to his or her principal account.” Secondly, “user-misclassified,” “users have created personal profiles for a business, organisation, or non-human entity such as a pet”. And finally, ”undesirable,” users who send spam messages or other contents.
