Launching the ‘stability update,’ a software update that removed search function from international versions of its flagship smartphone, the South Korean tech giant Samsung made a mistake, admitted Samsung.

The software updated immobilized the newest version of Samsung’s smartphone Galaxy S3′s capacity to search the web, contacts and apps through a single interface. Besides, the stability update disabled other on-device material too.

Samsung is trying to fix the problem immediately. It said in a statement: “The most recent software upgrade for the Galaxy S3 in theUKincluded the inadvertent removal of the universal search function.”

“Samsung will provide the correct software upgrade within the next few days,” added Samsung.
