Israel’s largest telecommunications group Bezeq has introduced first free public WiFi service in Israel.
The company headquartered in Tel Aviv confirms that the users will be able to access its launched WiFi services using portable devices like tablets, smartphones and laptops for free if they agree to share a small part of their home Internet bandwidth.
As part of communications packages 30 percent of leading telecom operators, approximately, including China Telecom, Verizon, Bouygues and British Telecom offer access to hot spots, according Bezeq, the leading Internet service provider inIsraelwith more than 850,000 WiFi customers.
In a news conference Bezez CEO Avi Gabbay said: ”This will enable our customers to receive a lot more for the same price. Customers can share their routers and create a network that will be with them everywhere.”
“We believe innovation leads to loyalty from customers and as market leaders we feel we need to be innovative,” said Ran Guron, deputy CEO and vice president of marketing.
