You are what you tweet or post on social media like Twitter or Facebook. Social media users should not post whatever they like as recruiters are pursuing them and as they are not impressed with your poor grammar or immature-activities.

According to a survey, more than 90% of US companies are using social media to have the best employee.

Dan Finnigan, president and CEO of Jobvite, a social recruiting platform who conducted the poll, said “The rise in social recruiting has allowed both candidates and employers an easier way to find the best match.”

“We continue to see social recruiting gain popularity because it is more efficient than the days of sifting through a haystack of resumes,” he added.

Recruiters will not judge you on your political support or religious belief. Grammar and spelling mistakes cause 54% negative reaction while profanity gets more than 60% negative reaction, said the survey.
