Google Chrome is the most used Web browser in the world, according to a survey.
According to StatCounter, a web traffic analysis tool, Google Chrome, the freeware web browser developed by Google received more usage than any other browser during the week of May 14 to May 20.
Chrome is now ahead of Internet Explorer, Firefox is in the third place and Apple’s Safari in fourth, reports StatCounter.
“It’s great to see more and more people around the world experiencing the speed, simplicity and security of Chrome,” said a Google’s spokesperson. “We continue to remain focused on building a better browsing experience so that people can enjoy a better web.”
Although Google Chrome is No. 1 worldwide, it is in second position in the USA.
