Sony has joined the ultrabook bandwagon by launching the VAIO T.
The VAIO T ranges in two display sizes: 11.6 inches (T11) and 13.3 inches (T13). The larger specimen sports a display resolution of 1366 x 768 while the one for the T11 was not specified. It consists of a second-generation Core i3 chip that’s paired with 4GB of RAM and Intel’s HD 3000 graphics. For storage, one can choose from going the full SSD route or the Hybrid option which comes with a 320GB hard drive with SSD cache memory for faster boot times. As for the chassis, both the T11 and T13 will sport an aluminum-magnesium chassis.
Pricing and availability details are yet to be divulged.
