To make the internet navigation easier and more comfortable on the social media, Facebook, the most celebrated social networking site, is planning to launch a fresh search engine for the people.

The determined company has already deployed a number of Facebook engineers onto the mission who will help develop the current search engine available on the social network, reports Bloomberg Businessweek.

Facebook’s objective behind the ambitious project led by Lars Rasmussen, former Google engineer, is “to help users better sift through the volume of content that members create on the site, such as status updates, and the articles, videos, and other information across the Web that people “like” using Facebook’s omnipresent thumbs-up button,” said the report.

Facebook’s spokesperson, however, declined to comment on the matter.
