iPhone, iPad and iPod touch users have downloaded 25 billion apps so far that pushes the company to a new milestone, said tech giant Apple in statement.
A Chinese customer named Chunli Fu ofQingdao,China, has downloaded the 25 billionth app with “Where’s my Water?” a free version of Disney’s mobile video game. By downloading so he is going to receive a $10,000 iTunes gift card from the company.
Apple said in a press release: “We’d like to thank our customers and developers for helping us achieve this historic milestone of 25 billion apps downloaded.”
“When we launched the App Store less than four years ago, we never imagined that mobile apps would become the phenomenon they have, or that developers would create such an incredible selection of apps for iOS users,” added the tech giant.
